THE CITY this is my plane in zurich. i don't know how i had the time to take this, because i had to run after my plane from chicago landed to make it to the gate. customs in geneva. i left seattle for chicago at 4 in the morning, and i think i made it to geneva at around 7 in the morning... the next day. this was the view right outside the hotel. it was on the perimiter of some lake right in the middle of geneva. i went wandering about after checking into the hotel and registering with thinkquest. everywhere you turned the view was rather stunning. i could already tell that this was one of the coolest places i had ever been. after breakfast i went on a walking tour and saw this neat gazebo kind of thing under construction. we walked through a park where these dudes were playing giant chess. there were several more of these boards scattered about. i think these were the founding fathers of geneva or something, with a message of peace. i loved the style of all the buildings, it was so european. there is something interesting to me about seeing well-known corporate logos in other countries. like, the logo is always the same, but everything else is different, but in a similar way... i don't know, i'm stupid. the cars in switzerland were so awesome! these things were like, 3 feet long. i'm pretty sure i couldn't have fit in one. more cool vehicles, i love the look of the silver bike. more cool european buildings. i think this was near a german fondu place we ate at the first night. cool graphic design, switzerland style! just thought it was interesting since my web site was about international mail.
